Pocket Page Scrapbooking Process : Week 31

It’s crazy to think that the week these pictures were taken we were all complaining about the heat and now, just a couple of weeks later, the autumn feels are definitely in the air! I decided to use the Tea Room Memories and More cards from Stampin’ Up! to document this week, I love the soft colours and the vintage type embellishments that happened to suit our bug hunt down to the groud!

I used the label stickers, that come with the pack, to add journaling to a few of the cards and fussy cut elements out of other cards to make embellishments. I love doing this as the saying/images are not always on the right size/orientation card that you need but by fussy cutting the image out you can place it anywhere on your layout knowing already that it will coordinate.

If I do something different, like matting the photo in the below picture, I do try to follow it on at least once more in my layout. This helps to give continuity to your layouts and helps everything to match in. I chose to use my Tiny Attacher to add an extra texture to this card.

This layout turned out quite simple but I really like it that way, I didn’t need much journalling as each card is pretty self-explanatory.

If you are thinking of placing an order for any of the products I have used in this layout and you do not already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I’d appreciate you selecting me as your demonstrator when you check out (Michelle Mills – Fishburn) and use the hostess code below.
