Yes yes I know that we’re not even in 2018 yet and this is already my 3rd planner set up but there was just something about the new year starting on a Monday that made me lust after a brand new clean notebook to use. I’d been using the Leuchttrum1917 since November and have been very happy in it but on binge-watching 2018 setups on YouTube I decided to try the Scribbles That Matters book.
I do a bit of a comparison in the video and let you know my thoughts on the paper quality of both.
Due to making errors in my future log in my LL1917 I pre pencilled everything in and then felt an enormous pressure on myself for the 2018 title page so I decided to stamp it. I used grey ink to do the stamping with a view to going back and colouring it in if I ever feel the desire to. I may also add some quotes or zentangles at some point.
The cover I am using is my UglyDori that Trevor made for me a couple of months ago which I totally love, I am awaiting the arrival of a Hobonichi Cousins and A5 Slimming World books that will sit either side of my journal and my set up will be complete!

Ugly Bug Plans 
I love the effect the gray ink gives – it looks vintage and so soft compared to black. Now I’ll go look for gray pens and inks and pretend I don’t have too much stationery stuff already 🙂
