As I explained in the video, this week has been crazy busy and I sat and recorded my weekly Project Life layout only for the recording to cut out just after I had selected my photos and cards and I hadn’t realised until I finished the layout… technology sucks! We are taking our, new to us, caravan away for a few days so I had no time to record another layout so you are getting an extra Traveler’s Notebook process video instead.. Yay!
For this layout I’ve used the Memories and More cards from Stampin’ Up! and the coordinating 6×6″ papers in my home made insert with pocket page protectors. I had found the envelope and tag in my stash and thought that it worked well with the doily, looking at the layout now I think I needed to balance out the Kraft envelope by adding some to the right hand page.
The pattern on the left hand page was the Eastern Beauty stamp set which I repeat stamped over the page in 2 different colours, again which coordinated with the colours in the memories and more cards.
In the past I’ve struggled with layering, I find an order that I’m happy with but then as I pick it up to stick down the layer changes and I can never get it right again.. I’d come across a tip on “My Little Journals” YouTube channel where she picked the layers up together and used her tiny attacher to keep them all together, I tried it with this layout and its a game changer, everything stayed put and I didn’t have to try and remember how to stick them down š
